A Piece of Art

Hi bloggers! Today I'm going to tell you about a piece of art that I love and enjoy every time that I see.

    This piece of art is "Wanderer on the Sea of Fog" (German: Der Wanderer über dem Nebelmeer), also known as mountaineer in a misty landscape, is an oil painting by the German romantic artist Caspar David Friedrich currently in the Kunsthalle Hamburg in Hamburg, Germany.

   I learned about this piece of art a few years ago, when I was in the first year of high school, in that year I had started to read many books and my relationship with my language teacher had become stronger because we always talked about these. One day my teacher decided to show me the pieces of art that she considered I should know, she decided to do this because she was interested in knowing my interpretation of these paintings.

  I really like this beautiful work because through the colors and details, it generates different sensations and interpretations. This painting shows the immensity of nature from the human vision at the top of the mountains, where the traveler can see other mountains that leave the sea of clouds.

   For me, this painting stands out among others, because is simple and it refers to the smallness of the human being compared to nature. This work is very interesting, because it allows that anyone can imagine and interpret things about it.
